وزير السياحة والآثار يلتقي بمجموعة من مستثمرى طابا
أثناء زيارته لمدينة طابا لحضور الاحتفالية التي نظمتها محافظة جنوب سيناء مساء أمس للاحتفال بالذكرى ال 32 لعودة طابا إلى الأراضي المصرية، التقى الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار مع مجموعة من مستثمري مدينة طابا، وذلك بحضور الأستاذة غادة شلبي نائب السيد الوزير لشئون السياحة والأستاذ أحمد الوصيف رئيس الاتحاد المصري للغرف السياحية.
جاء ذلك الاجتماع للاستماع للمشاكل التي تواجه هؤلاء المستثمرين وآرائهم ومقترحاتهم لدفع التنمية السياحية بالمدينة، وبحث آليات تنشيط حركة السياحة الداخلية، وعودة طابا الى ما كانت عليها قبل سنوات.
واستهل وزير السياحة والآثار اللقاء بالتأكيد على أن الدولة لا تدخر جهداً في سبيل النهوض بالقطاع السياحي كونه أحد أهم روافد الاقتصاد القومي، لافتاً إلى أن القيادة السياسية والحكومة تقوم بتذليل كافة العقبات الممكنة لدفع العمل في القطاع السياحي وتقديم الدعم اللازم للتخفيف عن كاهل هذا القطاع الهام خاصة وأن القطاع الخاص هو شريك النجاح والقاطرة الحقيقية للنهوض بهذا القطاع الحيوي.
كما أشار الوزير إلى المبادرات والقرارات والإجراءات والإعفاءات والتحفيزات والدعم الذي منحته الدولة لمساندة القطاع السياحي والعاملين به منذ بداية أزمة جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد وحتي الآن.
وأكد علي أن طابا مدينة تجمع بين العديد من الأنماط السياحية المختلفة فهي مدينة ذات موقع سياحي متميز لما بها من شواطئ خلابة وطبيعة دافئة وفنادق فخمة، كما أن بها جزيرة فرعون التي يوجد بها قلعة صلاح الدين الأثرية.
وخلال اللقاء، أشاد المستثمرون بالطرق الجديدة التي تم انشائها لتمهيد وتسهيل حركة الوصول الى المدينة، كما تم مناقشة إمكانية زيادة الخدمات بالمنطقة وتسيير عدد من رحلات الطيران الى مطار طابا.
كما أشادوا بحرص السيد الوزير المستمر على لقائهم بمدينة طابا للاستماع إليهم ولآرائهم.
وتم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة بعض المشكلات التي تواجه قطاع السياحة بطابا مع طرح مقترحات لحلها، لعودة طابا كما كانت عليه قبل سنوات، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة مقترحات تنشيط السياحة الداخلية لطابا.
جدير بالذكر أن الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار حرص منذ توليه حقيبة وزارة السياحة والآثار في ديسمبر 2019 على عقد لقاءات موسعة مع العديد من المستثمرين السياحيين بالمحافظات السياحية المختلفة منها البحر الأحمر وجنوب سيناء والأقصر وأسوان وسوهاج، للاستماع لمطالبهم ومقترحاتهم لدعم وزيادة حركة السياحة الوافدة إلي هذه المحافظات، وبحث التحديات التي تواجه صناعة السياحة بها.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets with Taba investors
During his visit to Taba to attend the event organized by the South Sinai Governorate yesterday evening to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the return of Taba to Egypt, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with a group of Taba investors, in the presence of Mrs. Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister for Tourism Affairs and Mr. Ahmed Al-Wasif President of the Egyptian Tourism Federation
They listened to the problems facing investors in Taba and their proposals to develop tourism in the city. They also discussed mechanisms to revitalize domestic tourism.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities said that the government spares no effort to develop the tourism sector, as it is one of the most important pillar of the national economy. He added that the government is removing all obstacles facing the tourism sector and provide the necessary support to revive this vital sector. He emphasized that the private sector is a partner in the success of this sector and the real driver for its advancement.
The minister also referred to the initiatives, decisions, exemptions, incentives and support granted by the government to support the tourism sector and its workers to mitigate the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic since it started until now.
He stressed that Taba is a city that combines many different types of tourism, as it is a city with a distinct tourist location because of its picturesque beaches, warm nature and luxurious hotels, and it also has the Pharaoh’s Island, which contains the ancient Citadel of Saladin.
During the meeting, investors praised the new roads that had been built to smooth and facilitate access to the city, and the possibility of increasing services in the area and operating a number of flights to Taba Airport was also discussed.
They also praised the minister’s eagerness to meet with them in Taba to listen to them and their views.
During the meeting, some of the problems facing the tourism sector in Taba were discussed, with proposals to solve them,, in addition to discussing proposals to revitalize domestic tourism to Taba.
It is worth noting that Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, has been keen since he assumed his position in December 2019 to hold expanded meetings with as many tourism investors as possible in various tourist governorates, including the Red Sea, South Sinai, Luxor, Aswan and Sohag, to listen to their demands and proposals to support and increase the movement of incoming tourism, and to also discuss the challenges facing the tourism industry.
